Truth is, we all make mistakes with our money. Plus, very few of us are taught how to deal with our money when we start earning it. So we learned how to deal with it through trial and error.
So what should you do if you made a big mistake in your past? Don’t beat yourself up over it and certainly don’t deny it happened. Be kind to yourself and learn from the mistake.
Forgive yourself and give yourself a break because you are human. Make a plan on how to move forward and execute the plan.
We all make mistakes and do things we regret, but feeling guilty about that mistake and shaming yourself for it won’t help your future self. Holding on to your mistakes keeps you a prisoner to your past.
Your financial mistakes don’t define you, you are worthy of wealth and abundance now.
So write down your mistake, apologize to yourself (or others if necessary) and make a plan to move forward.
